WHERE: Village Theatre Guild of Glen Ellyn, located at the corner of Park Blvd. and Butterfield Road.

This is an “Open Call” audition. No appointment is necessary. This is a non-equity, non-pay production.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Sides are posted on VTG website. No monologues are necessary but prepared monologue will be seen if actor chooses to share. All those auditioning are encouraged to provide a resume of their onstage experience and provide a list of all potential conflicts including travel. Any conflicts with the posted schedule must be discussed with the Producer and agreed to by the Director before casting can be confirmed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Village Theatre Guild requires all those who attend auditions to present proof of their COVID vaccination and to be masked.

synopsis

Go behind the scenes of a 1964 New York advertising agency when Daisy, the most controversial television commercial for a presidential political campaign was created and how we elect our leaders was forever changed.
