WHEN: Sunday, March 19 @7 pm and Tuesday, March 21 @7 pm
You need attend only one of these two days.
Invited Callbacks if needed on Wednesday, March 22 @7 pm
WHERE: Village Theatre Guild of Glen Ellyn, located at the corner of Park Blvd. and Butterfield Road.
WHAT: This is an “Open Call” audition. No appointment is necessary. This is a non-equity, non-pay production.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Sides are posted on VTG website. No monologues are necessary but prepared monologue will be seen if actor chooses to share. All those auditioning are encouraged to provide a resume of their onstage experience and provide a list of all potential conflicts including travel. Any conflicts with the posted schedule must be discussed with the Producer and agreed to by the Director before casting can be confirmed.

- 12 Total Performances
- Fridays and Saturdays – May 19, 20, 26, 27, and June 2, 3, 9, 10 at 8 pm
- Matinees at 2 pm May 21, 28 and June 3, 4

synopsis
The Children by Lucy Kirkwood is set in a small sea side cottage on the British coast. It is the home of Robin and Hazel, married, retired nuclear scientists in their sixties. A recent disaster at the local power station where they used to work has devastated the area. The arrival of their friend and colleague Rose, disrupts the ordered life they have created for themselves.
