WHERE:

Village Theatre Guild of Glen Ellyn, located at the corner of Park Blvd. and Butterfield Road.

All auditions will be held at Village Theatre Guild and appointments are necessary. The rehearsal schedule won’t be determined until we have a cast in place and we review conflicts.

WHAT:

Auditions will consist of two songs of one’s own choosing that are composed by Stephen Sondheim. One tune should be a ballad; the other an up-tempo.

If you love Sondheim and have always wanted to be part of a musical review that highlights many of his standards and some not-so-familiar tunes, then we highly encourage you to audition.

We are looking for 8-16 singers, male and female, ages 21 and above. Please prepare 16-32 bars of two Sondheim songs, one up-tempo and one ballad, that showcase your voice and song interpretation. Please bring sheet music, in your key, clearly marked.
