The Village Theatre Guild, Ltd. has joined a growing coalition of performing arts venues across Chicagoland and has adopted COVID-19 Vaccination and Mask Requirements for audiences and members, effective August 1, 2022. To ensure the safest possible environment for those participating in any activity at the Village Theatre Guild these protocols are currently in effect. They will be reviewed regularly, and may include an extension or relaxation of certain provisions as needed.
The Village Theatre Guild, Ltd. has relaxed its COVID-19 restrictions for audiences. We strive to ensure the safest possible environment for those participating in any activity at the Village Theatre Guild and encourage actors, production staff, crew and audience members to be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19, and to wear a face mask while in the theatre. However, effective February 7, 2023, there will no longer be monitoring of vaccination status or a requirement to wear a face mask while in the building. This policy will be reviewed regularly, and may include a return to stricter protocols as public health conditions warrant.
Face Masks will be made available for audience use upon request.

All individuals (actors, crew and VTG members, and audience members) are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to entering the building. “Fully vaccinated,” as defined by the CDC, is more than 14 calendar days following receipt of a final dose of an FDA authorized vaccine. Proof of vaccination in the form of a vaccination card (or a copy or a digital representation of the card) and personal identification is required to be presented at the box office prior to entering the building.
For those unable to be vaccinated, proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the event start time is required to be presented at the box office prior to entering the building.
